Flowers – Adding the Wow Factor

Recently I found another big old Webster’s Dictionary at the thrift store.   You may remember I found a red one a while back and used it in a February vignette that appeared in my post where I showed you how I made a Valentine Throw Pillow.   My latest dictionary find is dark blue.  Since I am somewhat obsessed with blue and white I put together a vignette in the foyer using the blue dictionary and some favorite pieces from my blue and white collection.

Blue and White vignette

This vignette is nice but does not have that WOW factor.

and WOW.

I love orchids because they are so lovely and elegant.

In fact,  fresh-cut and live flowers add the wow factor to almost any setting.  Here are just a few times earlier this year where flowers were an integral part of my post.
