My thrifting obsession netted a few good finds this past month. I made my usual rounds and here’s what I found:
copper pot with top
milk glass vase
J & G Meakin ironstone creamer
French metal mold
two French Limonade bottles
The chippy green handled rolling-pin was my mother’s and where this collection began. My newest finds are the French rolling-pin(dark stained one piece pin) and the marble rolling-pin net to it. If you look closely you can see the pink and green Bakelite handle of a rolling-pin I found a couple of months ago. A vintage Marshall Pottery crock No. 2 I found thrifting last year holds my rolling pins.
Here is the rest of the loot (the bottle holder and cutting board are just props).
The brass lion head handles and feet make this little copper pot very special in my book.
I’m trying to pass up milk glass these days but my collection did not contain a vase like this one, so I couldn’t resist.
After my Etsy J&G Meakin ironstone find a while back this creamer seems like a good addition to my ever-growing collection.
It has such a pretty shape and it was less than a dollar. Who could resist this lovely piece of ironstone?
The metal cake mold made in France will look great on my kitchen wall.
When I pulled everything together for this post I was so excited that three of my finds were French.
