The autumn spirit has not hit me yet but I finally got around to making a vignette in the kitchen this past weekend. Just doing that little bit did inspire me to do a little more. I’ve started working on my autumn mantel. This is usually a three-day process. I’m very methodical or maybe I’m just slow. Any how, I’m here today to share what I’ve done so far.
The small silver ribbed thermos and the large green Stanley thermos are thrift store finds. The other two thermos came from the Treasure Hunt.
When I saw the orange and brown thermos I bought it right away for an autumn vignette. It was sitting right next to the small green one which I passed up.
As you see I returned for the little green thermos. It works here for autumn and will also work for a Christmas project.
Wheat just says autumn to me.
These little orange gourds are staples in my house during autumn.
In addition to the thermos vignette my grandson and I picked out these gourds over the weekend so autumn has finally arrived at the Blue Willow House. More autumn inspiration to come.
