It’s been a dreary day in these parts. So to cheer myself up a bit I decided to make a junky wreath. I dug out a bunch of jello molds and cookie cutters from my stash then set to work.
I really enjoyed making this junky wreath.
It is hanging in my kitchen on the door to the basement .
I realized the wreath needed a base and remembered some wooden embroidery hoops in my stash. I chose the largest of the hoops as a base for the wreath. Here is a side view of the wreath.
I glued all the molds on the hoop
then tied on the cookie cutters.
Instead of a bow I glued three large Christmas lights in the top mold.
All of the items used to make this junky wreath are from a thrift store even the ribbon. If you missed these two posts Vintage Ladder Christmas Tree Inspiration and Ten Minute Rustic Scoop Décor you can see where my head is this holiday season.
