Vintage toy cars and trucks bringing home the Christmas Tree is so much fun. So when I found a couple of cool cars at the thrift store last week I scooped them up to transport a couple of my bottle brush trees.
On the same day I also spotted this red 2000 Chevy Corvette.
Their hoods and doors open.
My grandson can’t wait for Christmas décor to come down so he can play with these cars.
They are in good shape but not good enough for a serious collector. So he will probably end up with them.
They are 1/18 scale die-cast models of the 2000 BMW Z8 and 2000 Chevy Corvette. Hot Wheels produced both of them in 1999.
I even had to pull the 1957 Chevy Bel Air Coupe off A Junky Little Christmas Tree to do a bit of Christmas Tree transportation. Matchbox made this car in 1979 and it is in excellent shape. I found it in its original box at Goodwill, in fact all three cars came from Goodwill.
This red beauty bringing home the Christmas Tree first made an appearance in The Nickel Tour Christmas 2013.
