TTT Week 36 Vintage Goodness Found on ETSY

Sometimes I get a bit obsessed with shopping on ETSY, so today I am sharing some vintage finds.  OK I’m cheating a bit.  I’m still not back to full strength this virus really laid me low.  Even though I did do some thrifting earlier this week I’m going to share those finds with you later.

TTT #36 Title

The shopping began with the vintage Wolf dress form that I purchased back in late January.

Winged Annie E

As you may recall I named her Annie E for my grandmother.  She took a while to get from Pennsylvania to Georgia as a terrible winter storm hit the east coast but she arrived in perfect condition.

Angel Wings

I loved Annie E with wings so much that my next purchase on ETSY was for a pair of handmade feather wings.  Aren’t they beautiful?  Apparently Annie E gained a bit of weight since she purchased her wedding dress.

Opera Glasses

Then I found an item on my “wanted” list, a pair of vintage opera glasses.  These German opera glasses are exactly what I wanted.  They are petite and in lovely condition.

Nesco Picnic Basket

If you have followed me for a while you know I collect picnic baskets.  When I spotted this mid-century Nesco red plaid metal picnic basket at a good price it immediately went into my cart .  It arrived quickly and I can’t wait to use it.  I have several ideas for Christmastime but I’m hoping to use it before then.

Triumph Tippa Typewriter

My Dad wore little round wire glasses as a child.  There is a photo of him wearing them when he is about eight years old.  He was adorable with his freckles and wearing those little round glasses.  I have wanted a pair of these spectacles since I first saw that photo years ago.  I am so totally smitten with them that I used them as a prop for the Triumph Tippa typewriter that I shared with you in TTT Week 35 Vintage Finds.

Blue and white cow set

This past week I was looking at vintage figurines and planters and came across this adorable kitschy cow salt, pepper, and creamer set and the best part is that they are blue and white.

I’m glad you stopped by today to see my vintage ETSY finds and be sure to come back soon.  If you don’t already subscribe to my blog be sure to sign up by e-mail on the side bar or Hello bar at the top, so you will never miss a post.  I would love for you to follow me on Pinterest here and Facebook here.  Thanks for visiting and come back soon!

I must confess that I stay away from etsy. lol! Not that it’s not a good thing, but I just don’t need a thing. I love thrifting and that fills my vintage needs. I figure if I don’t go on etsy and see it I don’t know what I a missing. You have found fabulous things! I love the plaid tin. I collect them and thermoses. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
