Some Haunting Projects To Do Now For Halloween

My grandkids are already getting excited about Halloween and choosing their costumes.

Haunting Projects title 2

So I decided to revisit some projects from Halloween past.

BC Complete

My Halloween post Pottery Barn Inspired Spooky Birdcage was part of my Nester’s 30 Day Writing Challenge in 2013.

In that same series I did a PB Inspired Skeleton Garland.

Pottery Barn Scary River Rocks 2

There was also a quick and easy Pottery Barn Scary Chalkboard River Rock project.

 PB Inspired Black Top

I made these Pottery Barn Inspired  Black Glitter Topiary from thrift store topiary and black glittered spray paint.

Pottery Barn Inspired Halloween Mantel

Then I pulled several of these projects together for a Pottery Barn Inspired Halloween Mantel.

Skulls and urn

Last year I did another Q & E project Skull Vase Filler Pottery Barn Style.  It is embarrassingly easy.

Halloween Mantel

The skull vase filler was a part of my 2014 Quick and Easy Halloween Mantel along with a little different spin on my BOO letters and a new to me vintage trophy.

Mummy on sofa 2

Another project was a Quick and Easy Pottery Barn Inspired Mummy Pillow.

Halloween Jello Wreath

Dollar store embellishments came together to make this Quick and Easy Jello Mold Wreath.

Hope this gives you some Halloween inspiration I know looking at these old posts really got me in the mood to start decorating for Halloween.  I’m glad you stopped by today.  If you don’t already subscribe to my blog be sure to sign up by e-mail on the side bar or Hello bar at the top, that way you will never miss a post.  I would love for you to follow me on Pinterest here and Facebook here.  Thanks for visiting and come back soon!

  1. So much cuteness and scarey. Love it all.You really get into the Halloween mood, so much fun.
Wish grand kids were still small to enjoy some of this but no little ones even in neighborhood to put stuff out for. We don’t get any trick or treaters, have been in this house since 2006 but none that we know of. Sometimes we go to daughters in neighborhood with lots of kids so we can help hand out candy just to get some of fun. Oldest grand daughter gone to college this year so only 15 yr. old home now. Seems like it was just Halloween last year and here it almost is again, makes me feel old. Oh shucks forgot, I am old, 75, lol.
Halloween at your house must be lots of fun. Do you have parties? Imagine your neighbors sure enjoy your decorations. Have great week

    • Thanks JaneEllen. My grandkids are going to a trunk or treat this year with a little trick or treating in my neighborhood after. I’m staying home to give out candy.

  2. Sharon, I remember many of these. When it comes to Halloween, I’m like a kid in a candy store. lol! I can hardly wait to start changing from Fall to Halloween! Lots of cute inspiration from years past. Thanks for sharing it with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
