Ideas for Simple Fall Touches Around The House

Simple is the way to go when you are busy.  So here are a few ideas for simple fall decor.

Ideas Simple Fall Title

These ideas are quick and easy and done on the fly.

Thrifty Store Renew

You probably remember this Renewed Thrift Store Find from a week or so ago.  It was on the deck but the rain came back so I found it a home in the family room on the sofa table.

BW Cup with pumpkin

I used this tea cup and saucer in a photo shoot and just sat it down here.  It looked good, so it stayed there.

Love Feast Pumpkin

Velvet pumpkins are my new fall love.

Squirrel Nut Cracker

The iron squirrel nut cracker was also part of a photo shoot that stayed in place.

Pine Cones & Antlers

Pine cones are my go to decor for fall and winter.  An ironstone tureen filled with various sizes of pine cones and a set of deer antlers is on the coffee table in the family room.

Target Pillows

These three adorable pillows were $3.oo each at Target in the Dollar Spot.  The throw is 100% cotton and soooooo soft.  I found it at the Pottery Barn Outlet last year.

Ivy and pumpkin

I bought a bag of these gourds at Walmart and spread them out around the house.  Fancy I know.   I still haven’t made it to the pumpkin patch.

Antlers and moss

The moss balls were already in this pedestal bowl on a shelf by the fireplace.   The faux antlers are a greenish color that complements the moss balls.

Pumpkins and feathers

In the foyer I used the Chinese bowl I found in TTT Week 55 Vintage Finds to display a few more velvet pumpkins.  Then I filled the vintage trophy with feathers.

Nuts and Cinn

I’m still loving my Pottery Barn Inspired Pizza Board.  The bowl of nuts and cinnamon sticks came in handy the other day during my grandson’s homework time.  You probably guessed it was a math problem.  We had to divide 18 nuts and cinnamon sticks into six bags.  He got a kick out of it.

Pizza Board

We are still enjoying the pizza board on my breakfast room table.

Mums in olive bucket

Some mums in a garden bucket usher in fall on the deck and

Mr. Googly Collage

Mr. Googly my junky owl found a permanent home on the deck.

Donnie Crate

Don’t forget the Vintage Charm party that started Thursday.  It doesn’t close until Monday so there is still plenty of time to link up your posts.

Great inspiration Sharon! I too love the velvet pumpkins. I only have 3 small ones, but adore them. That squirrel has to be my favorite, but I also love the display on your pizza board! I have a couple of pieces that match your Hall’s bowl. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
