More Than A Hot Cocoa Stand

I’ve admired all the hot cocoa stands and wanted to set up one for us.

More than cocoa

So I gathered some ideas and set to work.

Pegrino Water

Since our weather is somewhat unpredictable these days I decided we needed cool drinks as well as hot ones.  So on the menu is hot cocoa, hot tea, lattes, cokes, and sparkling water.

Green tool box

You may recognize the green tool box on legs that I found thrifting here.  It holds candies, peppermints, and pirouettes.

PB Tiered supplies

Over on the tiered stand you can find cups, milk bottles, and little glasses as well as cokes and sparkling water.

Santas

It is sure to be a big hit.  My grandkids kept an eye on the process the last couple of days as I was putting the beverage stand together.

Hot Cocoa

We are all ready to dive in.

Latte and tea

Now for the last of the vintage finds transformed into Christmas decor (well sorta).

Blue Santa

Here is the Santa counted cross stitch I found in the hideous gold frame?  This isn’t exactly what I had in mind when I took it out of the frame; but to be honest I ran out of time, and this is just a temporary fix.

Little Lost Angel 2

My plan was to use the artwork in Little Lost Angel for a Christmas banner; however, I received several comments from readers about how much they loved the book so that project isn’t going to happen.  Instead I’m going to start a tradition with my grand-kids of reading it on Christmas Eve.

Always,

Sharon

  1. that sounds like best idea yet, reading a special book. your grandkids will love and cherish such a special tradition. kids can put perspective on situations quicker than we can screw up. wish our grandkids were still little.
not quite ready to type with both hands yet, exercises are priority for each day, lots of them to get this shoulder/arm working right. scar pretty much healed, don’t have to wear choking sling or bandage. surgery was 12/7 went home next afternoon. not taking pain pills any more, take maybe couple ibuprofen couple times a day. do have to admit, having shoulder replaced much easier than knees. not walk in park but have learned how to bathe, dress myself much quicker than i expected. still using cane for balance.
hope all well with you and yours.
where did you get 3 level stand? been wanting one for long time. looks great for holidays or anytime, very versatile. love santa mugs.
    wishing you best christmas ever.

  2. Love, love, love your hot cocoa and more area! Wonderful! Have a Merry Christmas, Sharon!
