Simple Sunday ~ Coastal Lantern

You may have guessed I’m at my daughter’s this week in south Florida.

She had a plain white lantern that needed a little up do.  So I told her to leave it to me to create a coastal themed lantern.

I gathered a few supplies.

First, I placed a layer of blue glass baubles in the bottom of the lantern.  After loading the batteries in the flameless candle I placed it on top of the layer of blue baubles.

Then, I topped the lantern off with a straw tie.

Lastly, I finished it by closing the lantern door and placing a starfish against the corner.

The Coastal Lantern joined these adorable flamingo throw pillows out on the deck.

All we need now is a cool refreshing drink.

Thank you for joining me today.

Perfect addition to the pillows! The candle reminds me of layered sand. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
