Sharon’s Pick

Brooke at Suddenly Southern picked up some wire wrapped vases a few weeks ago at Vintage Market Days of North Alabama.  She used them as part of her {Vintage Style} Treasures on the Sideboard.  In addition to the vases, the treasures on the sideboard include vintage postcards, photographs, and other fun items from her vintage collections.  You may remember Brooke from her former blog Creative Country Mom.  Be sure to visit Brooke and follow along as she is Making a Home in the Heart of Dixie.

Cecilia of B Farm is quite the artist, as well as a thrifty DIY goddess. I’m in love with the vintage metal cart she utterly transformed with a little bit of elbow grease and a lotta talent! In Dog Art On A Cartshe shares how she took a flea market find that had seen better days and gave it some artistic love. The end result is a fabulous retro vibe bar cart that anyone would LOVE to call their own. I know I would! Oh, and her two dog “models” (Buddy and Herbie) are the cutest. Drop by and see for yourself.

Barb from French Ethereal transformed a plain wooden miniature camper into the cutest little Shabby Chic Glamper. From a tiny license plate to bejeweled wheels, every detail is delightful! Drop by to get the tutorial and supply list to make your own.

Party Guidelines

Content: Submit up to three posts that involve vintage finds, crafts, DIYs, or other vintage experiences.   No recipes, shop link-ups, or direct advertising.

Link-back: Be sure to include the Vintage Charm button or a text link back to the party in your linked post.

Visitation: Please visit other blog posts—after all, that’s what a link up is all about. When pinning, please go to the source of a photo to pin it to Pinterest, so the originator of the post gets the credit.

Hostess Love: Consider following each of your party hostesses blogs and/or one or more forms of social media. We love connecting with each of you and will highlight features on all of our social media.

Spread the Word:  Please mention Vintage Charm on your social media to help spread the word and make this party a great experience for everyone.

Prizes: Keep in mind that each month we will select one of the month’s featured posts to be Featured on all four hostesses blogs. At the end of the year, we will select one of the twelve monthly features as the Grand Prize Feature of the Year. Prize TBA.

Permission: By linking up to Vintage Charm you assert that the photographs are yours (or you have permission to use them), and you give your hostesses permission to feature them on social media or a blog post, with a link back to your blog. You assert that your post content is also your own work.

Don’t forget to pin your favorites from the party!

We hope you’ll follow our Vintage Charm-Features and Favorites board on Pinterest, and check it every week. We don’t just pin features, but many other posts we love as well.  We want to build your traffic and popularity any way we can.

Link up your furniture flips, roadside finds, DIYs, re-purposed projects, collections, home decor and more!

Wow, so many excellent and inspiring projects to make, love it. Been on here for over 2 hours printing out projects want to do. Now if our weather would cooperate, has been off and on cod, rainy then warm pretty so many times. Next year going to leave at least one pair of faux ug boots out, could have used them. Been needing to wear my slippers out here at night with socks. Have some good ug style boots but don’t want to spend that kind of money. Supposed to freeze tonight. Really bad weather for crops here.
Not watching news, am so sick of lousy politics can’t stand it anymore, has ruined news for me. Usually we ate our supper while news is on, now we eat earlier or after news. Enuf already.
    Have wonderful weekend Sharon

  3. Happy Friday, ladies!

Thank you for hosting each week! I have enjoyed coming along and linking with you. And, to Cecilia ~ thank you for picking my post from last week as your Pick of the Week! I am truly honored. Making that little “glamper” was a lot of fun; it is up in the window beside me as I write. 🙂

I have to say I love the little Lalka dolls one woman crochets ~ every week she has a new one. She must be constantly crocheting. 🙂 And the cute Border Collie with the hot dog ~ I pinned that first thing!!! My mother loved dogs and that was my Mother’s Day post this year ~ a photo of my dog, Yoda. My daughter-in-law and son picked up a shelter dog last year, a border collie they named Luna. Luna is their special baby!!! Can’t wait to share this story with Justine. She’s crazy about border collies! :)’

Have a great weekend, and I’m still trying to figure out how to make the icon on my page. I’ll put one in my sidebar and I always link back with link party names at the bottom of each post. Thank you.

    Barb 🙂
