simple sunday ~ gnomes

Welcome to Simple Sunday.

This week’s project is the rehabilitation of a couple of thrift store gnomes.

I found these two very faded gnomes at the thrift store for seventy-five cents each.  Though faded they are in excellent shape and perfect for a rehab with a bit of spray paint.

Now to pick the paint colors.  Of course, I consulted Pinterest to help visualize gnomes painted solid colors.  On Pinterest, I found gnomes painted a variety of colors some even had hats painted one color and the body painted another.  Food for thought.

It is always advised to do what you really enjoy to do. It can exhibit a lot of beautiful moments in your life that makes you feel happy. It might be their explanation, but it is certainly true. If you enjoy bringing up magical things through colors, then just do it. It will decrease your stress levels and give you a refreshing feeling. Research on how you want to decorate it, think about it and take your own time. Sit in a relaxed posture at your convenience in a place you like and just go for it.

Gnome number one.Gnome number two.Now the twins.  I am always amazed at the change a can of spray paint can do.

Remember that the Snickerdoodle Party is open until Tuesday at midnight, won’t you come join us.

Liked them both but the aqua one is reminiscent of verdigreed copper/bronze! Bot the boyfriend one several years ago; he looks like a biker in black leather vest and pants; even looks like him! Will they scare away my woodchucks; baby one on the front step this a.m. eating my hosta!

I like how your garden gnomes turned out! I think the blue is my favorite, too! Pinned out to Tailwind then to Pinterest. 🙂
