Vintage Collecting Part 6 ~Trophies

Welcome to Part 6 of my ongoing series about vintage collecting.

Trophies are always on my radar when thrifting and antiquing.

Trophies

These mini trophies were the first of my collection.

Vintage Jr Tennis Racket

This trophy is a scholastic trophy for the “Best All Round Senior”.

Bowling Trophy

This is a favorite of mine presented by the “Bowling Belles”.

I found this beauty on ETSY.

The two larger trophies are actually vases that I ordered from Target.  These are no longer available but they have similar ones available online.

Trophy lamp 1

This trophy lamp came from Antique Farmhouse.

NOTE:  Some of the pieces in my collection are vintage and some are simply vintage inspired.

  1. I’m drawn to trophies too, Sharon. I need to thin mine out, though (as is the case with most of my collections!). Happy Sunday fun day.

  2. I have wanted a vintage trophy collection FOREVER but can not afford one. Too funny, Sharon, I JUST ordered the large one from Target online the other day! It was $10 off and I had a gift card, score! I would have gone for the smaller one too but it looks like that one is no longer available even online. I hate it when that happens:( Love all your other ones, too! Pinned! xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home

  3. Your trophy collection is wonderful. That’s one thing I don’t find around here–unless it’s the plastic sports variety. I will have to check out Target 😉

  4. Ha, I’m always looking for trophies, but the only kinds I see are the glossy plastic gold ones!

  5. Jann Olson says:

Love your collection Sharon! I too keep my eyes out for trophies. Usually when I find them they are big bucks and I’m not willing to dish it out. lol!
    hugs,
    Jann

  6. I love your collection, Sharon. Trophies are something I rarely see in this area but I still keep searching 😉

I love seeing trophies and medals from the past! Yours are so pretty…even the new ones! Just lovely! Thank you for sharing it at Make it Pretty Monday! Hope you’re having a lovely week. Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
