A couple of weeks ago my grandkids were out of school so my daughter and I decided to take them on a visit to Burt’s Farm for pumpkins. Burt’s Farm is in the North Georgia Mountains near Dawsonville.
We started the day with a stop at the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall for me to visit the Pottery Barn Outlet and my daughter and granddaughter to seek out princess costumes at the Disney Store. Then on to lunch at a local favorite and the farm.
Burt’s always has so many pumpkins and
a great variety to choose from.
I love the name of these pumpkins. Makes you wonder how they got their name.
These pumpkins are huge.
In addition to the abundance of pumpkins, Burt’s has Indian corn, squash, and gourds. I especially like the turban squash in the foreground of this photo.
Don’t you love the colors of these gourds?
The Baby Boos are beautiful! I wish more of them had come home with me.
Amicalola Falls Creek runs through Burt’s Farm.
It has a covered bridge to cross the creek to a picnic area. Two of my grands check out the bridge.
