Simple Sunday

Welcome friends, I am so happy you are here.

This week I’m showing you a little St. Patrick’s Day decor in my kitchen.

I won this adorable green vintage inspired post box from Tania at Little Vintage Cottage back in December.  She had a contest on her blog sponsored by Bits of Vintage to give away a vintage inspired post box to one lucky reader who turned out to be me.  I was beyond thrilled to be the winner and this is the first chance I’ve had to use it.

Since it is almost St. Patrick’s day I decided to use the post box to create a little vignette of sorts.  I started with a little greenery.

Then I clipped a pretty green bird in the greenery.

Next, I tied on a vintage style shamrock with some twine.

What self-respecting St. Patrick’s Day vignette would be complete without a leprechaun?

Thank you for joining me today.
