Late Fall Leafy Tablescape

Are you ready for a late fall leafy tablescape? The holidays are quickly approaching and the more I try to accomplish it seems like the more I get behind.  Hope you all are in better shape than I am.  I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is next week. Oh my!

Never the less I quickly put together this late fall tablescape while gearing up for Thanksgiving.

The centerpiece base is a flat basket I found thrifting a while ago.  To the basket I added a salad plate in the same pattern as the dinner plates.  Under the cloche I added one of my sweater pumpkins.  If you want to see how I made it check out this post. Then I added some cotton bolls and acorns.

A special touch I added is the crackled glass salt and pepper shakers I found while visiting my daughter in Florida earlier this year here.

Next, I added round water hyacinth place mats to the table, then placed a Pamela Gladding leaf plate on each place mat.  I tried several different vintage glasses but nothing worked.   My daughter and I went to the Dollar Store and they had these glasses the perfect shade of green.

The flatware is Kengingson by Pfaltzgraff and the napkins were a lucky find at Target last weekend.  The napkin rings are from my thrifting stash.

This beautiful fall leaf pillow is from the Pottery Barn Outlet near me.  It was the inspiration for this tablescape.

  1. Sharon, this is very pretty, from the centerpiece and working out to the pillow on the chair. The plates, pillow and napkins all look as though they were from the same line, same store. That pretty green glassware from Dollar Tree will get a LOT of all season mileage in tablescaping! Crackle glass always reminds me of Blenko. I’ve had Irice perfume bottles in my years of vintage shopping.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope to stop and just enjoy a few days with my hubby this week. Our normal family TGVG routine has been changed this year, but I’m okay with that. We’re getting away for a few good adventures and time together, which is what matters most.

  2. Those plates certainly do show the beautiful colors of autumn! It’s fun when we get our inspiration from something as simple as a pillow. 🙂 Thanks for sharing with SYC.
