Pottery Barn Kids Inspired Jingle Bell Garland

Pottery Barn Kids has several different Christmas garlands but the one that caught my eye is the Jingle Bell Garland.  So guess what, I am going to make it myself.

This simple garland consists of red ribbon, silver bells, and hooks.  The whole Christmas department is 40% off at Hobby Lobby so the bells and hooks were 40% off and the ribbon was 50% off as a weekly sale item.  My total invested is about $8 compared to $19 at PBK.

Supplies

This garland is easy to make.  I wanted my garland a bit longer than the PBK version so I used a 12 foot spool of ribbon.  Glue a bell to each end of 2.5 inch wide red ribbon.

Decide how many bells you want to use and divide your length to determine spacing between bells.  Mark the ribbon where each hook should be placed.

Pierce the ribbon on the marks you made in the last step and pull the hook through the ribbon.  Hang a bell on each hook and it’s done.

The photos do not do this garland justice.  It will be beautiful when on a mantle with some greenery, stockings, and silver décor.
